A large, snake-like flourotype related to the Phalaenopsis orchid.
Size ranges are typically between 5 and 7 meters long. Ember Cordiard are nearly always grey or green with bright orange streaks down it's sides, with a orange and purple flower around it's neck. An Ember Cordiard's frill-like flower is usually flush with it's torso when calm, and flares up when angered. It has sharp, scale-like thorns growing out of the sides of it's underbelly that help in climbing and griping prey. It's fangs are long, flat, and glass-like, and each filled with a different organic compound that when combined become super-heated. (Similar to the bombardier beetle.) When sufficiently threatened by a powerful predator, it will coil itself up in a twisting ball, grinding it's thorns together and creating a cloud of sparks to both burn and blind the predator.
